As you all know Geoffy G is the proud owner of the record label Black Star Entertainment. We promised you guys to write a short article about this wonderful news. Well, it took a while but here’s the official statement:

Dear World,

Proud as I am to notice you all about the wonderful happening. With the help of my manager Jude L. Richardson I started my own record label in Nigeria. We’re busy making preparations to release my first album in Nigeria. Black Star Entertainment is the name of my label. A Black Star is a rising star with Roots in Africa. But my label is one who represents all artists over the globe. Me as an Afropean wanted to give something back to my wonderful continent. This is just a start, you can expect more initiatives from my side to give back to Momma Africa. The head office is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. First artist to sign to BSE is me, Geoffy G. First official release will be my album ”Maintain Yourself” .

Greetings Lovely People,

It has been a while since you heard from me/ seen new posts on my website. Sorry for that! Behind the scenes we’ve been working hard on some new content for you. Soon to be posted on this website. Soon to come: new videos, logo/recordlabel presentation, new show dates (and a list of passed ones), new music collaborations etc.

I’m glad to let you know that I started my own recordlabel. I’m the president/director of the company. The name and proper presentation will soon come.
In Nigeria things are moving well. We had some delay because of the elections in my homeland. But the road seems clear for us now, so we can pick up where we left. The music videos of Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby) and No Gain are coming your way. Forgot how these wonderful nigerian dancehall tracks sound like? Then look right above on my website to see the music player and listen to the tracks. My album ‘Maintain Yourself’ (Nigerian Release) will be launched this year. Days in Curacao pt 1

November this year Geoffy G went to Curacao. To promote his music and to explore the Island. Here’s part one of some short clips Geoffy made for his Naija people. Before the release from his debute album ”Maintain Yourself” in Nigeria. Geoffy wanted to give an extra boost to the promotion going on in Naija.
