Geoffy’s Main show MasterPeace

July 5th, 2010 | By

After performing with the boys and girls of School Thamen. Geoffy is about to do his own live performance at Liberation Day for Master Peace. Little kids and their parents are gone. A new location is there. Youth them are fully packed with hundreds in a big party space. Let the Love, Peacefull Madness and Music flow! Geoffy is giving a wonderfull show with his crew MC Marboo and Juan (bodyguard). The last one even got the mic to sing along with the hit track (Naija) Over(Nane’s Song). Rachid (cameraman) is so enthousiastic that he couldn’t hold the camera steady. He was bouncing and singing along the whole show. Geoffy really pulled of something with this Peace and One Love Performance cause people went crazy and showed madd respect. The Dj spinning is from the duo Brothers&Harmonie mr.Urvin. Get ready for some funky show with even live saxophone! Geoffy also did a mc show case with MC Marboo in the end. Feels like music has taking over the building!

An non profit organasation with the same idea’s of spreading peace over the globe like I. This year I was asked by Shrinath, one of the members of MasterPeace, to help him in a wonderfull initiative called Master Peace. We had a few meetings together and set out a plan. In this post you can read more about MasterPeace. And in future posts you’ll find all the activities we did for MasterPeace in Haarlem for the Dutch Liberation Day 2010. Enjoy!

MasterPeace is a spontaneous, bottom-up and truly global endorsement – by NGOs, companies, social entrepreneurs and others – of the speech given by President Barack Obama in Cairo (June 2009, invited by Al-Azhar and Cairo University). The project will be officially launched on Peace Day 2011. MasterPeace will provide a mesmerising concert in Cairo on Peace Day 2014, where artists from all the world’s major conflict regions will perform together to promote togetherness, international collaboration and the reduction of armed conflicts. This concert will be an exclusive reward for people who supported peace-building activities between 2011 and 2014. Because peace-building is a verb. MasterPeace. “Building Peace. Together”.

“Peace is one of humanity’s most precious needs, and our highest calling”
