My last day in Lagos Nigeria. You’d think that I’ll have time to relax, right? Well think again. Life for an upcoming artist as I and I is really busy and hectic, believe me.

I had time till 14.00 for myself. When it was time we drove to Festac Town to meet my lawyer, Udoka and Jude. Today was the big day of signing an marketing agreement between Udoka, Jude and I. My lawyer already written down all the necessary information. So it was left to Udoka, Jude and I to sign. I read the documents carefully and signed them. Then gave Udoka and Jude a hand to seal the deal. It’s now official. Udoka from Udoworld markets my music in whole Nigeria, West Africa and South Africa. Let’s go!

After this meeting we rushed ourselves to the studio to shoot common shots of I. Yes my lovely people. Jude and I agreed to treat you with an extra video clip. The wonderful song called No Gain is the lucky track. It will be my third video clip. The video of Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby) is coming your way. Making of Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby) will be soon on www.geoffy-g.com. Naija is gonna feel it as well! The shooting of No Gain went smoothly. Jude, the director really explained what he expected from I. As you know me I did my thing and gave them fully I and I. Watch out for the video very soon on www.geoffy-g.com

We now drove to the hotel to pick our bags and had to head to the airport very fast. We had an enormous time pressure, but we made it. We arrived on time at the airport, but guess what. Our flight was cancelled! I was really pissed of. My mind state was to fly back to Holland. Lay in my own bed and meet family. This was now ruined. The reason was because of bad weather in Tripoli. So we have to fly the next day. Getting back to the hotel I was still pissed off. Idi and mom wisely left me alone. After I took my Guldar beer I and I was relaxed and could talk to people again. Let’s pray tomorrow our flight will depart.

One Love,

We did major TV interviews, now it was time to rock the Radio. Radio Star 101.5 FM is where my interview took place. Terry is the name of the host. The show took place around 14.00, news hour. This was a strategic hour, cause many listeners would tune in.

Terry introduced me to his show and really caught me of guard. He asked me to do some a capella singing for him and the listeners. I wasn’t used to this, but gave him a little reggae sweetness. That was a good start of the show. People already where feeling my reggae vibes. After singing I did a little rap and introduced myself proper as an Igbo man from Abia State. It was an amazing show with good response from Terry and his listeners. When he played my track No Gain people went crazy. But when my tune Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby) went on air. Everybody went mad. Even Terry couldn’t resist jumping and dancing around. Very nice to see people enjoying my tunes like this. Geoffy took over the show! Yes I!

After the interview at Radio Star 101.5 FM we had to meet with Steve, Jude, Udoka and I for an important meeting. Today we had to come to an agreement bout releasing my album Maintain Yourself in Naija. We had to agree to an acceptable marketing contract for both Udoka and I. Since we where already working together and my product was accepted very well. I wasn’t seeing any obstacles. It took us about 2 hours to come to a good agreement for both parties. Udoka was happy, I was happy, my mom, Idi and Jude. We now had to arrange that a lawyer would document everything we agreed on. This was put for tomorrow, cause I was exhausted from all activities today.

Today (Thursday) we supposed to meet Udoka and Jude for a serious business meeting. We had to talk about a marketing contract. Because it’s my desire to release my album Maintain Yourself in Nigeria. I would like Udoka to be my marketer, cause he’d already done terrific job for I. But we had to come to an agreement first. Unfortunately the meeting didn’t took place. Everybody was busy and I myself was stressed about this. Because we where leaving in 2 days, so this had to be done before then. But all parties ensured me that we where going to make it. I put my trust in them, so let’s see how this will work out.

In the evening I took my Guldar beer to relax myself and not to worry to much about the marketing contract. Taking 2 Guldar beer and eating Suja really relaxed my mind. New ingredient (so no weed smoking no more for I) to relax I self from stressJ

Today was the Big Day. We’re going to shoot the video of Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby). I woke up around 6.00, cause I was so excited. I couldn’t sleep longer.

Around 9.00 AM we were at our rendezvous point. There we were waiting for Jude, the models, Peach and Shuga Boi. Shuga Boi was one of the first persons to arrive. 2 models where already there, but I didn’t knew this, cause I had never met them before. After Shuga Boi, Jude came in with Chigozie (cameraman). We where now waiting for Peach, who was delayed because of Nigeria’s traffic go slow. After some delay everybody was there so we could leave to the set.

Jude had arranged a bus for the whole crew. We had up to 10 people or even more coming along. Everybody could fit in the bus and off we went! We had to go to the sea side, cause we were crossing the sea by boot. All of us were afraid of doing this, but we kept quite. Arriving by the boat I could feel the tension rising. The models were praying to God and I was feeling kinda nervous as well. I’m not that fond of crossing water by a speed boat like these. But what needs to be done, needs to be done.
The trip by boat wasn’t that bad as I thought it would be. I actually enjoyed myself. I was snapping pictures and even filming and laughing. Pamela, one of the models, really made me laugh. She was scared at the beginning and held my hands tight. But later on she could relax as well. After 25 minutes spending on the boat, we arrived at our own eiland, the set for Nigerian Girls (Omalicha Baby).

The eiland looked like paradise. Nobody was there except us and I really felt like a king coming back to his residence. We had like 20 minutes to get ourselves together, put on some make up, get our mind straight. We shot the video in like 6 hours. It was hard working, but we did it!

My first experience in making a video in Nigeria. It was wonderful. Looking forward to the end result. Gonna be something else. Yes o!

I didn’t mind, cause after a impressive weekend at N’Dena’s place. I could use some rest and relaxation. So this is what we did. Mom and I stayed at our hotel room. We only went out to the market. After doing this we went straight back to the hotel

We couldn’t make it early in the morning. While explaining this to him a smile came on his face. It was as if he tried to say ‘’I knew you guys would be late’’.

Around 15.00 N’Dena started praying for I. I kneeled in front of him with my hands open in front of him. He held my hands and start praying together with his apostle. After praying he blessed water and made it holy. Then I took the water and went for a bath. After this he washed my hear and blessed me again. Strange thing is that I felt something true my body. Which I cannot describe for you. N’Dena did the same with my mom and after her prayer she had to leave. Because this was my moment (3days) of reuniting myself with my spirit. Without any intervention ore distraction. So mom had to leave.

I wont go into details about my 3days with N’Dena and his wonderful family. But what I can say is that it was a memorable experience. One I’ll never forget in my life. It has changed me and showed me the direction I was already searching for. My mom told me that if I would get closer to Jah/God. That my music would even move better for me. This was a year before we travelled to Nigeria. I began praying to God and see what it brought to me till now. My Naija project is Moving Mountains rapidly. So there’s truly a God and IandI believe in him. N’Dena gave me the same message about getting closer to God. I feel closer to God and I’m really going to pray on a regular basis. IandI bought the Bible to study. To see if I feel it, cause maybe my religion lays in other holy written words. Time will tell. I’m thankful to momma for bringing I to N’Dena. It is really what I needed in life right now. I feel so happy and in peace with I self. She really knows her son, thanks mom!

So as you see me know my lovely people. I’m reborn again. Found my spiritual I even more than I already did. Things are moving well for I and I is feeling very good, strong, heavenly, spiritually. I is feeling like Theophilus Onyenaturuchi George a.k.a. Geoffy G.

These are the villages where I was born and I was raised up. We went to pick a woman at The Sacred Church of Cherubim and Seraphim. She wanted the high prophet in Aba to pray for I.

After picking the woman in Akwete our journey continued. There we went to meet Mr. N’Dena. He’s a far relative of the family George, my mom’s family. So in a kinda way we’re related. N’Dena is a respected prophet in Port Harcourt and whole southern states. Everybody knows whom you’re talking about when you mention his name. When I met him I saw he was a blind man, who couldn’t hear that much anymore. He’s aged and has a strong and powerful aura surrounding him.

My mom greeted him and after some explanation he knew who she was. A big smile appeared on his face and he immediately gave her a prophecy. After this my mom introduced him to I. He took my both hands and read my palms. He told me I was one of him and that I had a very strong spirit. But there was something holding me back. It was as if I was wearing a cap and waiting for some one to remove this cap. He told me that I was destined to be a great prophet. But that I had to find my way to Christ again. I won’t go that deep in telling you all the things he said. But the feeling that came up from I was a indescribable one. Everything he described bout I as a person was true. And what he said I agreed. It was as if he knew me for years and vice versa. My mom told him nothing bout I (we came there together) and I kept silent during the whole conversation.

He told me that he would pray for me, but that it would take 3 days. And I’d had to stay at his place in Aba, without leaving to anywhere. Because of my tight schedule I wanted to come back tomorrow. I had a interview this evening for I music. He agreed and told me to come back early in the morning. He told me that if he was done with I Sunday morning. I would feel like I was reborn. Let’s see what this holy journey will bring I……

After seeing N’Dena I went to radio station Riddim FM. It was reggae night and we came in to late, because of Port Harcourt’s terrible traffic. We had a terrible go slow. So we came in the show for the last 15 minutes. I quickly introduced myself to the listeners and promised them accapela at the end of the show. So said so done. Everybody went nuts when they heard I singing live. They was very surprised and I got the phone number of Dj Sinclair to hook up if I was in town again. A new contact made and people in whole Nigeria been feeling I. Cause my cousins in Port Harcourt, Lagos and even Benin City called I to say they was feeling I. How wonderful right?

Moving Mountains,

We went to sleep late because saying goodbye was very hard. I slept around 3.00 AM and had to wake up 9.00 AM again. So it was a short night for I.

When Rawlings (Tha G) came to pick me, I was still sleeping. But I dressed up very soon and got into the car quickly. We had to meet my mom at Yaya’s place, our cousin. We were going to the village where IandI was born. Ike, a friend of mine came along with us. Rawlings dropped us at my cousin’s house and from there he went to Onne for work.

Ike and me spent the whole day at my cousin Yaya her place. We relaxed, ate and drank. We listened to music and chilled out. Nuff relaxation today. My mom called she wasn’t going to make it today, if we could just find time for ourselves. I didn’t mind, cause I was on low energy because of yesterday. So we sat outside and relaxed in the mansion of Yaya. Hope to build a house like this very soon for mommy and the family. Let’s hope I’ll accomplish this in the nearby future.

One Love,

They live near to the village where I was born. It’s like one hour driving to her place from Port Harcourt. Around 14.00 we where at Yaya’s place. I stayed briefly, cause I was going to meet some friends of mine in Port Harcourt and have a drink together.

Before we went to Port Harcourt, we stopped by Onne to see Tha G’s work. He had to finalize some things over there. We then drove back to Port Harcourt from Onne. It took us op to 2,5 hours driving back, because of the go slow. It was terrible. I really had to keep patient, but in my mind I was exploding. Normally a trip from Onne to Port Harcourt would take like 40 minutes. So you can imagine how I felt, without having a good dinner for quite so long. Finally we arrived at the Hotel me and my senior brother stayed last year. There my friends were awaiting for I. We all hugged like we’ve known each other for years and have been close friends. It felt really good seeing and talking to everybody. We had some drinks, talked, laughed and sat together. It felt like coming home again. Quality time with friends is good for the soul.

One of the reasons why, because my mom’s luggage wasn’t there. Before we got into the plain I always make sure our luggage is there. When inspecting this I found out one was missing. I argued with the man in charge. This one called the cargo department. There I heard they needed to inspect the luggage, because of some liquid. But they couldn’t cause it was locked, duh.

After letting them look in my mom’s luggage we could depart. Having 15 minutes of delay. Of course I had to pay the manager in charge of the cargo, for a quick inspection. But I didn’t mind. Our flight went well and before I knew we were in Port Harcourt Airport. There Okeh a.k.a. Tha G picked us with his driver. Tha G is my cousin, a close friend to my senior brother Charles.
